Practical help and support groups

The Home Library Service is a free of charge service that arranges for books to be delivered by volunteers to housebound clients, and those who are unable to reach their local library due to disabilities or caring responsibilities.

If you find it difficult to get to the library in person due to age, illness or disability, or you are an unpaid carer, you can have library items delivered to your home.

We offer:

  • Equipment loan
  • Home visiting
  • Information
  • Other services
  • Signposting to other services
  • Volunteering activities
